STACKr is a financial tool that helps you see your debts in one place, build a payoff plan, estimate the date you could become debt-free (your “Freedom Date”), and optionally automate payments toward debts you select.
STACKr is not a bank, a lender, a credit repair organization, a debt settlement or debt consolidation company, or a provider of financial, legal, or tax advice. We do not lend money, negotiate or settle debts on your behalf, or guarantee any particular financial outcome. Information provided by STACKr is for your general use and does not constitute professional advice.
You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States to use STACKr. By using the service, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
Connecting your accounts, viewing your debts, sorting them, building your payoff plan, and viewing your Freedom Date are provided free of charge. You are never required to pay in order to see your information or plan your payoff. You may choose to pay your debts yourself, directly with your creditors, at no cost to you through STACKr.
If you choose to have STACKr automate payments on your behalf, fees apply. STACKr uses an “a la carte” model: you pay only for the debts you choose to automate. The applicable base fee and per-debt fee will be clearly disclosed to you at the time you enable automation, and you will be asked to authorize them before any charge is made. Fees may change from time to time; any change will be disclosed before it takes effect, and you may turn off automation at any time.
To use STACKr, you connect your financial accounts through our third-party connection providers. By connecting an account, you authorize STACKr and these providers to access account information such as balances and transactions as needed to provide the service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the accounts and information you connect.
To help identify your debts, STACKr may request your credit information through our providers. This is performed as a soft inquiry, which does not affect your credit score. By using the service, you provide written instructions authorizing STACKr and its providers to obtain your credit information for this purpose.
When you enable automation, you authorize STACKr and its payment partners to initiate the payments you have set up, in the amounts and on the schedule presented to you. Payments are processed through our third-party banking and payment partners. You are responsible for maintaining sufficient funds in your funding account. While STACKr includes safeguards intended to avoid attempting a payment when funds appear insufficient, we do not guarantee that any payment will succeed, and we are not responsible for fees charged by your bank or creditors, including overdraft or late fees.
You may turn off automation or close your account at any time. Turning off automation stops future automated payments going forward. Fees already incurred for completed service are non-refundable except where required by law or as otherwise stated at signup.
Payoff timelines, interest savings, and Freedom Dates shown by STACKr are estimates based on the information available and assumptions about interest rates and payment behavior. Actual results will vary. STACKr does not guarantee any specific savings, timeline, or financial outcome.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, STACKr and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the service or by email. Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [GOVERNING STATE], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. [Counsel to confirm governing state and any arbitration or dispute-resolution provisions.]
